Atlanta, GA – Rhodes Risk Advisors, an Atlanta based commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage, opened 2018 with significant momentum in its targeted industry verticals. Multifamily & Real Estate
New client additions within the multifamily practice included the insurance placement for an over 330-unit apartment complex in San Antonio, TX. This property had over $30M in TIV and Rhodes was able to navigate the client through the closing process. Having regionally specific program knowledge and access allowed the multifamily team to provide the most favorable rates and coverage during the marketing process.Another addition to the multifamily portfolio was a new client with a frame apartment complex located in Columbia, SC. A comprehensive program was established providing significant cost savings in comparison with that of the previous insurance placement.Rhodes secured permanent liability coverage for a new 24-story high rise apartment development in Midtown Atlanta. The multifamily team was integral in working from the initial development phase of this project all the way through its completion.Additionally, all lines of coverage were placed for a luxury condominium association located in Buckhead with over $25M in TIV. Through the marketing process and review of their current program, Rhodes provided savings on their insurance spend while expanding coverage for this new client.
Film & Entertainment
Directors & Officers coverage and Employment Practices Liability were placed on behalf of an Atlanta based film production company. Rhodes also obtained Key Man Life Insurance coverage for an Atlanta based soundstage executive. This additional coverage solidified business continuity risk for an emerging company in the entertainment space.
Technology
Rhodes placed a comprehensive insurance program for a technology firm focused on location services intelligence based in New York, NY, with offices across the country. This included international, fiduciary, tech errors and omissions, and cyber liability in addition to the standard coverage placements.
Aviation
The aviation team at Rhodes added multiple new clients in various states to its growing aerospace portfolio. This consisted of a mix of corporate aircraft as well as high value personal aircraft utilized for business purposes. Industry specific aviation knowledge and experience allowed program improvement in addition to cost benefit, as well as greater flexibility in utilization for each individual client.
